Where is Dolpo? 

Dolpo is a high-altitude culturally Tibetan region in the upper part of Dolpa District of western Nepal, bordering Tibet in the north. Dolpo is surrounded by the Himalayan mountains and forms part of the high-altitude deserts of Tibet.  

Weaving as a beginningless craft  

Weaving is considered one of the oldest crafts in Himalayan communities across the region, used for rugs, ceremonial dresses and other necessary items for each household.
