This singing bowl is completely made by hand. It is made up of a mix of metals; copper, bronze, brass, tin, zinc, and lead. The 'etching' art design is Himalayan inspired and made by artists in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Handmade singing bowls are of a much higher quality than factory made bowls and this is greatly reflected in their sound quality. With handmade bowls, the sound is much more deep - it is rich with more overtones, and the bowl's resonance lasts for a prolonged length of time. The mixture of many different metals that is used when making the bowl also plays a role in bringing forth a broader spectrum of sound - more layers of texture are pronounced.
